Hey!
The best part about my holiday so far is when I begged my father for an OVO Sweatshirt and for an Art set to get started on my portfolio and my father said: "Yes, Ofcourse."
I'm still dancing and doing cart wheels. Time to beg for a new cellphone.

Jean Paul Gaultier
Jean Paul Gaultier, a French Haute Couture Fashion Designer. This man is indeed amongst the best designers in the Fashion Industry. This man has dressed Stars such as Rihanna, Jessica Alba, Madonna etc.
I must say, I loved his Tribute to Amy Winehouse through his collection.
1) That gown is AMAZING and Riri just rocked it. It was really meant to be worn by no one else but Rihanna.
2) This gown worn by Fergie, I love the actual dress but not the way Fergie decided to wear it.
3) Jessica Alba in THAT. Gorgeous. Done.
4) Nicole Kidman. I love her in that.
5) Dita Von Teese. It's not the usual Red Carpet Dress and I love it just for that.

Feature: C. Marques
Not only is his favourite Fashion Designer Neil Barret but his blog title made me shout "YES" when I first saw it. Okay here it is: "Life is too short to wear bad clothes."
YES, IT IS Right?
Okay here are the Qs & As:
Denim on Denim. Love It. Hardly ever disappoints |
-Full Name?
Let´s just go as C. Marques.
-Where did you get your love for
fashion?
I actually don´t know. I guess that
I just like clothes, you know? haha
-Your favourite designer and why?
I guess I´ll have to go with Neil
Barrett. I love everything he does. His clothes are very versatile and I like
that.
-What is your "Go-To
Outfit?"
Blazer, white shirt and dark jeans.
Works like a charm.
-Are you currently studying or
working? Is it fashion related?
I´m an architect. It´s an incredible
fashionable job, if I might say.
-What, in your opinion gets a person
to be labeled a "Fashion Icon?"
Versatility.
-Has where you live influenced your
style in any way?
Nice question. I guess it was my
time in Italy that influenced it the most.
-How would you advise young males
out there to tackle the journey of finding their style?
Don´t be afraid to wear what you
like. Be yourself. (but tailor your clothes)
-What are the 5 most basic Items a
Male should have in his closet?
Slim fitted two button blazer.
Dark slim fit jeans.
Double monk strap shoes.
Great underwear (get some d&g,
guys)
White shirts.
WHY CAN'T ALL MALE SPECIES LOVE FASHION HUH?

Solange Looks Amazing here. |
Summer. Summer. Summer. Summer. Summer.
What is it about this season? It CANNOT be the heat, okay not where i live it gets blazing hot. Okay, maybe being able to wear your cheeky shorts and crop tops because it's so hot? Yes. Maybe.
I love summer. Every body loves summer. Designers go mad when it's summer. Everything becomes so alive and beautiful, the printed clothes, the colours just the different ways people put together their clothes, such wonderful style. I think the key to summer is to DEFINITELY to dress for your body shape, size and type. Thunder thighs don't go so well with cheeky shoes hey!
And can I just say that if YOU can rock tropical prints then I Love You. I am STILL not brave enough to rock prints, I need to find my bravado.
SOLANGE KNOWLES. Enough said.

50 Shades of pure Awesome-ness...
50
SHADES
OF
GREY
This post has absolutely nothing to do with Fashion just by the way. Obviously!
I am busy reading '50 Shades of Grey' and OH MY GOLLY GOSH. It's a lovely book. Okay, well so far, I'm not even on page 100 yet but when I'm so consumed by a book like this? I love it. I stopped reading it because I want to get this feeling of excitement tomorrow too.
A teacher of mine, in charge of the library (I'm a librarian, bookworm) warned me about the raunchiness of this book and it is quite kinky, I won't lie. The male character, Christian, I love the sexiness and bravado he has. Amazing man. I cannot wait to read more.
I am sure some of you have read it though, it's like 'The book to read' right now.
If you haven't and you're a bookworm then please, try it out.

Audrey Hepburn
I feel like this is another blog post about her but two isn't even enough because this woman was just so amazing. Such ELEGANCE. She was such a Lady and I love it. She was indeed a fashion icon, absolutely no doubt about it.
Audrey Hepburn was an Oscarr winning actress, she was on of the most influential movie stars but when it came to fashion, man this woman was timeless. Audrey's style isn't extravagant, but it possesses such admirable simplicity, you know how people stress that less is more? She became proof that one can make that phrase true indeed. One of the people that got her to this point was ofcourse Hubert de Givenchy. He clearly knew so muh about Style and he was impeccable at putting together so much of that for Audrey. It saddens me that I wasn't alive at that day and age.

Best South African Celeb Style: Toya
1. |
PICTURE 1: I love that turqoise blazer, especially because of the black lining. An orange cardigan? I'm sure I'd look at it and pass if I saw it in a store BUT that's before I got real with Fashion and before people like Toya inspired me.
PICTURE 2: I've been meaning to buy myself those oval shaped glasses, really. I love them, especially on her. I love how the look from shoulders down looks a bit on the "smart" side then you add the long socks and glasses and it's diverted to the Fun side.

Luthando Ndibongo
She's sixteen. Goes to my school. My grade.
I love her wardrobe and I love how she grabs those clothes and creates a masterpiece on her body. I must say, girls in my grade have improved when it comes to fashion but seemingly some just follow trends, you know? I like it when one makes a statement, when you wear 'I Don't Give a Fuck What You Think of Me" on your body and make that look beautiful. Love. Love. Love this girl.
TOO BAD SHE DOES NOT HAVE A BLOG.
